Another Pretending Madman Found in Ibadan Today

#askaroundnow

Another person pretending as a madman was caught in Oke-Ado, Ibadan again on Wednesday.
This came barely 24 hours to the arrest of a suspected ritualist who pretended as madman.
No fewer than three tongues were found on the madman on Tuesday.
However, when the "pretentious" madman was caught on Wednesday, there was a scare crisis.
The incident also led to commotion among youths who threatened to burn the culprit to ashes.
DAILY TIMES gathered that it took the intervention of the police to disperse the crowd.
"The police came immediately and sent us away with tear gas. The man was nearly burnt if not for them," a source said.
Meanwhile, the demolition of the kidnappers’ den at Soka area of Ibadan was stopped midway to allow the team of forensic experts from the police headquarters in Abuja carry out their investigations.
The order for the demolition was given by the Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, on Monday during his visit to the forest where the decomposed bodies of several people were discovered and some captives rescued by security agents.

DAILY TIMES correspondent who witnessed the visitation gathered that the den has been guarded to avoid further invasion.
Governor Ajimobi, who had hinged the demolition and the clearing of the forest on the request of the Soka community to allow for visibility of the area, also directed environmental health officers to fumigate the forest and the entire area to prevent outbreak of epidemics.
No sooner had the demolition of the buildings where the kidnappers were carrying out their nefarious activities commenced than the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mohammed Ndabawa, called the Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Prince Ayode Abass-Aleshinloye and informed him of the need to stop the exercise to allow the team of forensic experts from the police headquarters in Abuja carry out their investigations.
Abass-Aleshinloye was at the site, in company with his Ibadan South-West Local Government counterpart, Mr. Taoheed Adeleke and the General Manager of Ibadan Local Governments Property Development Company, Mr. Lekan Babalola, to supervise the exercise.
The police boss reasoned that should the exercise be allowed to continue as earlier planned, concrete evidences that would help the police in their investigations would have been destroyed.
The demolition and the clearing of the bush will, however, resume on Friday as the forensic experts are expected to have completed their investigations on Thursday.
Both Abass-Aleshinloye and Adeleke said efforts were being made to ensure that the speculation in some quarters of a possible dungeon in the forest was properly investigated and the site cordoned off.
