But Keira Knightley courted attention for different reasons on Tuesday, as she arrived for the Chanel show during Paris Fashion Week. The actress wore an outfit (designed by Karl Lagerfeld, naturally) which made her waist look so impossibly tiny you wondered whether it could be an optical illusion.
Body image expert and therapist Marisa Peer says: 'Keira has a body type that is very unusual; she has very small breasts and she's naturally extremely slim. It's the way she's built: she just doesn't seem to store fat around her waist or the top half of her body.'

Femail Fashion Editor Eliza Scarborough adds: 'Keira looks so tiny in these images. She’s taken the "illusion" dress (where darker panels make the body appear narrower) to another level with the crop top and skirt combination layered over a black body.
'The boxy cut of the white top and A-line skirt which sits at the widest part of the hips makes Keira’s waist seem even smaller in comparison - not that she needs any help with that.
'I would guess the black middle area also has some structuring or boning in it, which will pull in the waist even further. She has taken the full catwalk look but swapped the sneakers for metallic heels for extra height.'
