A knife-wielding attacker stabbed a woman to death in broad daylight then rolled a cigarette while he waited for police to arrive, it was claimed today.
The 42-year-old victim was pronounced dead at hospital after she was stabbed at least four times in the neck in Tottenham, north London yesterday afternoon.
A 46-year-old man was arrested at the scene, which was cordoned off while forensics officers combed the street for evidence.

Officers were said to be looking at traces of tobacco, following claims the alleged killer rolled a cigarette after stabbing his victim at least four times
Those working nearby said they think the victim knew her attacker, who left the knife in her neck and made no attempt to flee.
Sergio Fernandes, 21, said: 'I think these people had issues together. I was talking to a few witnesses and they said he stabbed her up four times in the neck.
'He stood there knowing he had done something wrong and rolled up a cigarette and let the police take him away.
'She was lying there with the knife still sticking out of her neck, and he had blood all over his hands.'
