The Simpsons creator Matt Groening shared a wider cartoon version of the famous Oscars selfie on Tuesday that shows Homer Simpson getting booted out of the frame.
The 60-year-old animator posted the image showing a cartoon version of picture-taker Bradley Cooper pushing the back of Homer's head away with his heel while the stars smiled behind him.
'The ugly true story of that Oscar selfie can finally be told! Let's break Twitter again. Look for Bart,' read a tweet with the photo posted to the official Homer J. Simpson account.

Groening's artwork showed Bradley, Ellen, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Channing Tatum, Julia Roberts, Kevin Spacey, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Lupita Nyong'o and Lupita's brother.
The wider cartoon shot also included more of Best Supporting Actor winner Jared Leto who barely squeezed into the selfie that briefly broke Twitter on Sunday.

'I've officially joined @TheSimpsons!' Jared tweeted along with an image of The Simpsons version.
The cartoon version also included Homer's mischievious son Bart with only the top of his head visible as he flashed horn fingers behind cartoon Meryl's head.
The original version of the selfie has been retweeted more than three million times and easily beat the previous record-holding picture of Barack Obama and his wife.

The 2012 'Four more years' photo of President Obama and the First Lady hugging was the previous record-holder with more than 782,000 retweets.
The Oscars selfie also inspired a Legos version.
The Legoland Discovery Centre Manchester in the UK on Tuesday also shared a photo of the toy version of the selfie on Twitter.
