One could almost forget that Justin Bieber is a musician and not just a magnet for trouble.
The pop star, who will celebrate his 20th birthday Saturday, released his first track since his post-drag racing arrest in Miami on January 23 on charges of resisting officers and driving under the influence.
Late Friday night, the troubled singer tweeted a link to a mixtape site that featured the hip hop song Broken on a playlist called We Know The DJ Radio 4 from DJ Tay James.

Break this: Justin Bieber, pictured on tour in Paraguay in November, has released his first track, Broken, since his Miami arrest in January
In Broken, which also features rapper Blake Kelly, Justin defiantly sings, 'they're persistent, trying to break me down / I cannot be broken.'
Other lyrics include: 'I cannot be broken / They can’t take what’s mine / Someone like me is hard to find.'
In another verse, he croons 'I guess they want a reaction / I ain't gonna give it to 'em / I cannot be broken / Like I know you were hoping.'
That's racy: The pop star was driving this yellow sports car with model Chantel Jeffries as his passenger when he was arrested last month
What, me worry?: The 19-year-old did not appear to be too concerned in his mug shot
The track, which is nearly three minutes long, wraps up with a verse about 'a cruise on the smooth highway / I ain't even trying to get away.'
The wild child is about to reject a plea deal in the Miami case, which would require him to submit to random drug testing, according to TMZ.
The State Attorney was allegedly ready to drop resisting arrest and DUI charges if Justin agreed to undergo random testing for substance use and commit 40 hours of community service, but sources say the singer will reject the offer.
According to the site, sources close to Bieber believe the prosecutor's offer should be declined because Justin doesn't want to be under the constant threat of probation.
As part of the deal, prosecutors also asked that Bieber attend an alcohol education course as well as a victim impact panel, where he will hear stories from the family and friends of DUI victims.
But sources tell TMZ that Bieber feels this would make him a spectacle.
The Canadian-born singer would also be required to have an ignition interlock device installed in his vehicle for three months.
Stay away: Neighbors in a wealthy section of Atlanta where Justin is considering buying a home are none too thrilled with the prospect of having him down the street
Launching pad: The Baby singer has been renting out this spaceship-like mansion in Atlanta owned by producer Dallas Austin
The Boyfriend singer is still also dealing with the legal fallout from an egg-throwing incident in his Calabasas, California, neighborhood, which is under investigation by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office.
Justin is reportedly considering purchasing an $11m, seven-bedroom, 16,000 square-foot mansion built in 2010, to be near the hip-hop community in the Atlanta area, according to TMZ.
Residents of the well-to-do Buckhead neighborhood were planning to stage a protest at 6 a.m. on Monday outside the Blackland Road property the pop star has his eye on.
'As a community here in Buckhead, we have worked hard to achieve our goals and get to where we are. Justin Bieber’s relocation to Atlanta can be nothing but bad for our children, as well as the community,' reads a statement on the Facebook page.
Not over yet: The troubled star will reportedly reject a plea deal in relation to his Miami case
Nobody wins: The Canadian-born singer was the butt of jokes when Canada played the USA in Olympic hockey
'Some can’t even let their children play in the driveway without fear; he has raced vehicles under the influence before. What’s to say he won’t do it again?' added the post.
He's currently staying in a home that has a spaceship-inspired design. It's owned by producer Dallas Austin.
As if he didn't have enough drama already, Bieber was made the butt of a joke by a company in Illinois, which paid for a large billboard ahead of Friday's high-stakes hockey game between the U.S. and Canada at the Sochi Olympics, as DNAInfo Chicago first reported.
The electronic advertisement, which went up along Edens Expressway in Chicago, depicts the singer flanked by Team USA's Patrick Kane and Team Canada's Jonathan Toews with a caption that read: 'Loser Keep Bieber.' Canada won the game
