All eyes were on Lily Allen when she walked the red carpet at the NME awards 2014 on Wednesday. The singer was awarded with a gong for Best Solo Artist at the prestigious event.
The star headed to London's 02 Brixton Academy and wore an eccentric sixties-style shift dress and threw a bright furry jacket over her shoulder.
She was in high spirits as she arrived at the event, where Arctic Monkeys, Damon Albarn, Paul McCartney and Blondie are also attending.
She'll stop traffic: Lily Allen arrives at the NME awards at London's Brixton academy on Wednesday night wearing a colourful ensemble

Lily, who is enjoying her time back in the limelight showed off her slim figure in her mini dress which was made up of orange, black and white panels.

She gave herself some extra inches by throwing on an iridescent white pair of sky-high stilettos which complemented her tanned legs and she carried a pricey black Louis Vuitton bag.
But perhaps the most striking item of all was the green and blue furry jacket that she threw over one shoulder like some type of stole.
