On Thursday, Lady Gaga became a futuristic sea creature on its wedding day, as she decked herself out in an all-white bodysuit and tossed a bouquet at her waiting fans in New York City.

You'd have to wonder whether the 27-year-old's wardrobe choice was intended to send a subliminal message to her actor boyfriend Taylor Kinney... especially considering the loved-up public tweet she sent him just hours later.

Gaga showed off her sculpted physique in the full lycra bodysuit, with the white fabric gripping every inch of her toned body and leaving no room for error.

The impractical garment was covered in a heavy smattering of what looked to be embroidered sea urchin fossils, embellished with diamantes and forming odd patterns all over her body.

As she usually does, the Applause singer elevated herself many, many extra inches off the ground with absurd platform shoes which were also obviously white to match the rest of her getup.

She recycled the Rapunzel-esque white wig she's worn more than enough lately and covered her eyes with a mask which in reality looked like a pair of goggles made of sea urchin fossils.

All in all, Lady Gaga looked like something you might come across in the ocean of a Disney movie, as she carried an equally white bouquet of flowers on her way out to meet her Monsters (fans).

The Do What U Want songstress then went ahead and simulated an actual wedding scenario, whereby she stood with her back to her fans and threw the floral arrangement over her shoulder with glee.

Of the gaggle of Gaga enthusiasts, one smiling fellow was lucky enough to catch the giant bunch, technically meaning he's supposed to get married next.

Lady Gaga is not married - at least not yet - though she is enjoying a love-fest with her on-off actor boyfriend Taylor Kinney.

The singer and the Chicago Fire star engaged in a romantic and intimate Twitter interchange just hours after the throwing of the bouquet on Thursday, which began as Taylor put out an important request to his 191K followers: 'Can someone write a poem quick? Something good, please.'

So who got it? The Applause singer took a peek over her behind to see who was lucky enough to catch

She can't even handle how cute she is: Gaga was feeling so cute she had to hold her face in her hands

His lady love was quick to provide for her man, tweeting him a poem just minutes later.

In a moment of pure artistry, this is what Gaga came up with: '@TaylorKinney111 I love my baby down to sleep, and pray The Lord his soul to keep. Can u pass me the goldfish and the remote?'

The actor and the singer then proceeded to tweet a series of poems back and forth to one another which were either adorable in-jokes or just so profoundly arty it was impossible to interpret them.
