Arby's can get their hat back! After turning heads at the 2014 Grammys for his questionable fashion statement, Pharrell Williams has decided to auction off his now-infamous oversized brown fedora.
"I'm auctioning off my hat from the Grammys to benefit From One Hand to Another," the 40-year-old singer tweeted on Thursday, Feb. 20. "Hey @Arbys, you want my hat? Now's your chance . . ." he added with a link to the auction on eBay.
After Williams walked the red carpet at the Grammys on Jan. 26 styling the hat, the fast food chain tweeted: "Hey @Pharrell, can we have our hat back?" The restaurant's logo is a large red cowboy hat that looks remarkably similar to the shape of Williams' Vivienne Westwood "Mountain" hat.
Just hours after the auction started, Williams tweeted: "We started my hat auction at $200 (the price I paid for it) and it's already up to over 10K?" Bidding on the 10-day auction has already reached over $10,000 after less than one day.
Proceeds benefit From One Hand to Another, which is Williams' charity for at-risk youths.
