He has sold over 30 million records worldwide and been nominated for 16 Grammy Award.
But Snoop Dogg displayed a whole new set of skills as she took to the basketball court on Valentine's Day.
The 42-year-old rapper played in the Sprint National Basketball Association All-Star Celebrity Basketball Game in New Orleans, Louisiana on Friday.
Snoop impressed by scoring 11 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in the exhibition game.
The Drop It Like Its Hot singer, however, did not drop enough balls through the hoop as his team of the West Celebrities ultimately fell to the East Celebrities, 60-56.
Snoop let his competitive side shine during the match as he battled against US Education Secretary Arne Duncan through the course of the game.
Ultimately it was Arne who had the most impressive statistics as he racked up 20 points, 11 rebounds, and passed out six assists, which helped to seal the win for his team.
The 20 points put up by Arne was the most that have ever been put up by a celebrity in the game in what some are calling the best performance in the event's history.
The American Education Secretary had such an impressive showing that Ride Along star Kevin Hart gave the Most Valuable Player award to the politician after the game, despite being voted to receive the honour by the fans.
