Just the day before she was calling him the 'abandoner' for supposedly planning to leave her alone with the twins on Valentine's Day as he embarked on a business trip.
And it seems Mariah Carey was determined to show husband Nick Cannon exactly what he was missing out on.
The singer tweeted a series of sexy selfies showing her sporting a candy bra in a bath full of red and pink balloons as she implored the TV host to return home for the romantic occasion.

'Still waiting' she wrote alongside one snapshot, while beside another picture, she wrote: 'Champagne, bubbles + candy and no Valentine yet..

And it seems the cheeky posts managed to do the trick with Nick surprising his famous wife, brining her a special necklace as a Valentine's gift.

The America's Got Talent host shared a snap of the gift on Friday, telling fans he surprised his spouse with the piece of jewellery.
The 33-year-old captioned the Instagram snap: 'Had to give my beautiful wife a little Valentines Day Surprise! #YoureMine #Diamonds #CandyBra #ConfettiOnTheBody #PartyTime #PutTheKidsToBed'

'It's the schedule': Mariah revealed husband Nick Cannon wouldn't be home for Valentine's Day during a radio appearance in NYC on Thursday.
But the singer called Cannon 'the abandoner' on Thursday as she revealed she would spend the most romantic day of the year 'alone with the babies' - the couple's twins Moroccan and Monroe - during a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest.

When the singer was asked by Ryan what her Valentine's Day plans were, she replied:

'The abandoner is going to be somewhere else. And by abandoner, I mean Nicholas Scott Cannon. I was giving him [beep] about it all day.
'I’ll be alone with the babies, but they’re my Valentines anyway,' she added.
The previous day, Mariah complained again during another radio appearance that Nick wasn't making time for their relationship.

'He’s not even going to be home [on Valentine's Day] from what I hear now,' she said on Power 105.1 Radio’s Breakfast Club. 'The schedule darling, the schedule darling.'

She also claimed the America's Got Talent host hadn't made time for her in the past.
That night, Nick was seen on the town at the Hennessy V.S. & Blue Magazine party, where he was honoured as the publication's February cover star.
Nick recently said their marriage was strong, and their secret to happiness was spirituality and having a healthy love life.

Meanwhile, it has been rumoured Mariah could be expecting another baby with Nick, but a spokesperson for the singer has denied the claims.
Last year, Mariah admitted that her difficult first pregnancy with the twins had put her off extending her family any further.

Mariah, who suffered from pre-eclampsia and gestational diabetes during the pregnancy, explained: 'If Nick could have the babies himself, then yeah, bring 'em on. We love kids.

'But to anyone who has ever carried twins, it is a totally different experience... You don't even know who you are. I had a very difficult pregnancy.'
