Miley Cyrus tweeted that she has not smoked a cigarette in two months.

Who says Miley Cyrus can't be a role model?
The 21-year-old singer has quit smoking cigarettes and boasted about her progress on Twitter Monday.
"2 months no cigs," she tweeted. "#proudofmyself"
Cyrus is apparently taking baby steps in order to put out the flame for good. But she hasn't indicated whether she'll also drop her habit of smoking marijuana, as she's previously boasted about her love for the high.
"I love weed. I just love getting stoned," she told Ronan Farrow for the March issue of W Magazine. "I just want it to be back to where it's, like, organic, good weed."

While the cigs no longer have a place in the "Adore You" singer's life, it doesn't seem like her admiration for pot will fade anytime soon

"Everyone is in a relationship, getting married or having babies," she tweeted in January. "And I'm over here like 'I love weed.'"
Cyrus has never been one to hold her tongue and it was no different when she previously detailed her drug preferences, which do not include nicotine.
"Hollywood is a coke town, but weed is so much better. And Molly, too," she told Rolling Stone in September. "Those are happy drugs -- social drugs."
The "We Can't Stop" singer even remarked how weed and Molly are the new "it" drugs and coke is, like, so yesterday.

"They make you want to be with your friends. You're out in the open. You're not in a bathroom," she said listing all the positives of smoking pot and popping Molly.
"I really don't like coke," she continued. "It's so gross and so dark. It's like what are you, from the '90s? Ew."
Though cigarettes are no longer her choice, she admitted she still loves to enjoy marijuana and Molly.

She's put weed on the top of her list of recreational drugs even before alcohol, which she feels is "way more dangerous than marijuana."
"I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed," she told Rolling Stone, also pointing out why she loves living in sunny California where marijuana is legal.
"It's legal in the state of California," she said. "I'm happy to live in … a place where you can be whoever you want to be."
