Chelsea's capture of well-travelled striker Samuel Eto'o in the summer raised a few eyebrows.
After courting Wayne Rooney throughout the transfer window, settling for the former Inter Milan and Barcelona man felt like second choice.
And while Eto'o has led the Blues' line comfortably in recent months - including bagging a hat-trick over Rooney's United - he's made sure he stands out.
Eto'o tweeted a picture of him in a full fur coat, loafers without socks and rolled up trousers, capped off with a fedora in his hand.
With the get-up putting him right at home with the trendy London set, Eto'o posted the picture with the message: 'After Don Dieto'o de la Vega alias The black Zorro, let's go to the Renaissance: Samuel Eto'o 1er? ahaha'
'The Black Zorro' was another outfit sported by the Cameroon icon, complete with flowing cape.
Jose Mourinho might be the Special One, but his No 9 is certainly putting him in the stage in the odd fashion stakes.
