Movie star, Uche Jumbo has released her 13th movie – After The Proposal.
The movie, which stars Mama Gee and Uche Jombo herself, has a mixed
assemblage of new and old hands such as Patience Ozokwor, Bellinda
Effah, Keira Haywatch, Theresa Edem, Anthony Monjaro and Shan Faqua.
Directed by Desmond Elliots, After The Proposal
tells the story of a widow (Patience Ozokwor) blessed with three
daughters and no son. They couldn’t wait for one of her daughters to
bring home a man. When Kenneth (Anthony Monjaro) finally proposes to
Mary (Uche Jombo) after eight years of courtship, his excitement of
getting married is short-lived as the demands from the elders of the
village threaten to prevent the marriage.
